Media Engine Lab Engineer

Job description:

This position is responsible for maintaining the Media Engine Lab environment.The work includes maintain and update the Media Engine lab, involve in reproducing bugs, narrow down the problem and build test modules.You will develop and maintain unit and automation tests, analyze test cases and write test plans. You will work closely with talented and highly-dedicated Media Engine engineers at Avid’s headquarters in Tewksbury, MA. We are looking for motivated, well-rounded, hands-on engineer to work to improve our test environment.

Essential Skills:

Sharp troubleshooting, problem solving and debugging skills
Good knowledge of batch and scripting language, such as Perl is a plus.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
excellent organizational skills.
Working knowledge of Windows OS development (Mac and UNIX a plus)
Ability to configure and maintain WinXP-based development systems
C/C++ and Object-oriented coding skills (automated software development a plusdf-tc
