HERES WHAT WE NEED

We have an immediate opening for a Laboratory Validation Specialist in Raleigh, NC. The primary responsibility of this position is the installation, validation, and qualification of purchased laboratory equipment systems for use in the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Key duties include:

Generating life cycle documentation as required by site standards and GAMP

Installation, configuration and computer validation of laboratory equipment systems.

Generating a full range of validation documents including but not limited to: User and Functional Requirements, Validation Plans, IQ, OQ, PQ Protocols & Validation Reports

Reviewing vendor software technical documentation as required

Provide general technical support as directed by the process owner

Experience/Skills
Bachelor's Degree in a related field; minimum of 3 years related work experience

- Prior experience in life cycle management with metered- or non-metered dose inhallation equipment, including hands-on experience with Cascade impaction, aerosol testing or similar processes is highly desired

- Previous experience with laboratory equipment calibration and maintenance a plus

- Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP) compliance regarding equipment validation; prior experience developing standard methods, processes, and procedures is desired

- Experience in executing unit, system, and application acceptance test cases

- Experience managing projects to completion, including oversight of internal and external resources, is desired

- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills

- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
