Experience and Skills:

. Overall IT experience: 8-10 years.
. Should have financial industry experience
. Must have built and operated large scale end user facing Websites
. Must have experience supporting mission critical Web applications
. Experience with design and architecture of Multi-tiered Web based
applications and databases
. Strong experience in developing applications using Java, J2EE
(JBoss, Tomcat) and Oracle 10g
. Good experience in Fatwire Content Server 7.5 including support
for authoring and general content management activities
. Good understanding of messaging frameworks (pub/sub, point-point)
. Required Technology expertise: J2EE, JBoss EAP, Websphere App
Server, Struts, Hibernate, Apache Webserver, Google appliances,
Oracle 10g
. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
. Should have experience working closely with client managers and in
production support mode
. Ability to prioritize and manage work based on criticality in a
fast-paced environment
. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with offshore
teams


Responsibilities:

. Work closely with client to understand As-Is application and
manage day-to-day production support activities and enhancements
. Provide technology consulting to the client and offshore teams
. Work with the client managers in estimating effort for application
enhancements and scheduling production deployments
. Ability to lead and guide the offshore developers in executing
production fixes and enhancements
