This position will be responsible for building and testing lasers by following documented protocol in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include optical component testing, assembly, optical alignment, characterization and testing of solid state laser cavities.

Requires that candidate is able to trouble shoot lasers cavities to the component level, have solid electronics troubleshooting skills of complex circuits and laser cavities plus electromechanical skills. In addition, candidates must have a high school diploma or GED plus one year of specialized technical or education in laser optics, physics or electronics technology and 5 1/2 years of medical/electronic manufacturing and testing experience with 3 years minimum laser manufacturing experience.
