This customer facing role exists to manage the Lawson Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems in coordination with the functional and business areas of Human Resources, Payroll, Procurement and Finance.The position requires excellent written and oral communication skills and management of IT professionals who perform support for the Lawson systems. This position will be responsible for providing administrative decision making, leadership and planning for operational improvement projects.


Functional Description:

Support fulfillment of the company vision for prompt and professional client services through motivation and leadership
Oversee the day-to-day implementation and operational aspects of the client relationship
Develop strategy needed to achieve agreed upon service levels
Manage the setup and delivery of services
Manage the requirements definition process and ensure that system specifications accurately reflect client requirements.
Build effective liaisons to manage the transition from implementation to ongoing client delivery
Act as subject matter expert regarding the application of business objectives and alternatives for service delivery.
Act as subject matter expert regarding the application product infrastructure
Build a cohesive team by championing quality, integrating team efforts through status meetings, sharing appropriate information, and building depth of expertise
Manage finances for the program, including invoice processing and approval, timely receipt of client payments and other P&L responsibilities.
Collect and analyze system specific information and coordinate the successful implementation of that information into the assigned applications
Understand application interfaces
Coordinate the resolution of all hardware, data integrity issues, third party software and connectivity problems within the established SLA guidelines and best practice policies
Document operational and support procedures to ensure the overall integrity of the application. Develop and implement process improvements when unanticipated problems arise.
Manage the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables
Conduct technical research on upgrades to determine feasibility, cost, time required and compatibility with current system
Oversee and provides support for product testing, production acceptance and production support
Performs or supervises review, quality control and change management activities
Leads product maintenance and downtime response
Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the application
Complete necessary internal reporting and report status to various levels of management and client representatives
Manage program and project risk, develop mitigation plans, and escalate decisions and unresolved issues as needed
Conduct post implementation reviews to assess project delivery and benefits against project goals and budget
Other duties as assigned




Requirements
· 3+ Years IT Project Management experience
· Ability to take after hours on call
· Knowledge of appropriate programming languages and structure programming techniques
· Ability to communicate clearly and concisely through written and verbal communications
· Ability to translate technical information to non-technical system users
· Experience in managing system projects of HR/Payroll and Finance systems
· Demonstrated understanding of the systems development and project management life-cycle processes involved with implementing I.T. solutions.
· Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the enterprise including senior-level management, business users, developers, and technical staff
· Ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously
· Troubleshooting, problem solving and organizational skills


Preferences
· BS/BA in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems or related degree
· Lawson ERP systems experience (HR/Payroll/Finance/Procurement)
· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
· Working knowledge of other related business applications such as Kronos, ImageNow, BSI, MHC and Crystal Reporting
