Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Lawson Systems Specialist to join our team in Louisville, KY.

Job Responsibilities :
This role will provide daily operational support for all Lawson modules; directly working with client to identify and resolve problems; work with client to obtain request specifications; develop screens and reports in Lawson as necessary.

Role :
  • Designs and develops total systems solutions to the enterprise-wide systems problems of customers. These solutions deal with the major business processes used to manage the overall enterprise. The task requires integrating hardware, software, and the customer. Systems integrators participate with the customer in the strategic design process and translate business needs into technical systems solutions. They are responsible for the technical correctness and completeness of integrated systems designs.

  • Works in collaborative effort with other Associates through design and implementation phases of total systems’ solutions. Provides individual and lead support for complex multi-system installations, large system installations with complex software and hardware applications, or large system installations with complex business and management considerations.

  • Determines and specifies the computing infrastructure and services needed to support the development and deployment of enterprise computing systems.

  • Assumes principal technical role in demonstrations, furnishing technical expertise and answering customer inquiries with regard to both hardware and software. Provides software-consulting services to customers including identifying needs, developing, influencing and implementing proposals. Develops customer support plans for complex systems and major accounts.



    • Required Skills:
  • Highly experienced functional/technical analyst familiar with AP, GL, HR, PY, MM, BA using Lawson CASE tools. Highly familiar with the Lawson database and LBI, Lawson security (LAUA and/or 9.0), BCI, EDI, Lawson utilities, micro focus COBOL, and UNIX scripting. Versions 8.0 and higher.


    • Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • College Degree or equivalent work/technical experience.
