Description
We have a permanent position available for a Lawson System Administrator for client located in Saint Petersburg/Tampa, Florida.

Qualifications:
* At least three years working in a technical capacity on Lawson systems with an extensive knowledge of Lawson environments, product lines, directory structures and the web infrastructure, including Apache, Tomcat, XML and Javascript.
* Ability to lead technical implementations with complete responsibility for the technical set up for multi test and production environments.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with non technical users.
* A good working knowledge of Lawson security including web based as well as desktop security.
* Some experience with Design Studio and Process flow a plus.
* Works occasional weekends

Education:
AS or AA - Required
BS - Preferred

Experience:
Three years LAWSON - Required
Three years SYSTEM ADMIN - Required

Description:
* The System Administrator acts as the liaison between super users, technical support and Lawson, communicating problems, issues, requests, and recommendations as needed.
* Responsible for monitoring the system for efficiency, disk space usage, and will work closely with the system DBA to ensure the Lawson application is running well within the Oracle data base platform.
* Maintain extensive knowledge of the Lawson environments, product lines, directory structures and web infrastructure and will be expected to lead any implementations involving environments and web installs including Apache and Tomcat.
