Description
How would you like to use your expertise to make a difference to the children of Hillsborough County? One of my clients in Tampa is looking for a Technology Pro to help augment their team for a 6 month contract. This may extend if all goes well after the initial contract.

Skills Required:

Extensive, successful experience developing custom microfocus, COBOL 4 GL programs for use with Lawson ERP system; Demonstrated, intimate knowledge of Lawson Human Resources, Payroll, and Benefits suites version 8.0.2 and general knowledge of Lawson version 8.0.3;

Duties include but are not limited to:
Support for Lawson version 8.0.2 and assistance with upgrade to 8.0.3; Creating Technical Design Documents from a Functional Design Document; Designing and coding microfocus COBOL 4GL custom programs; Participation in design sessions with both technical and functional staff; Providing knowledge transfer and technical assistance to HCPS staff; Production support for Payroll, HR, and Benefits processes; Unit testing; Assistance with User Acceptance testing; program/script migrations to multiple environments; writing UNIX scripts, other duties as required.
