Conducts skills, technical, management and staff development training courses within business units or groups.

Uses needs assessment tools to determine effectiveness of training programs.

Interacts with functional organizations to develop specifications for content of courses.

Evaluates need and develops new training materials and/or revises current material to ensure business unit or group training needs are met.

Evaluates training methodology.

Designs and develops in-house programs.

Interacts with functional organizations to develop specifications for content of courses.

Conducts follow up to determine applicability of course material.

All other duties as assigned.

- A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of three to five years experience in training, human resources or related field.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing customer-focused, quality service.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Possess detail-oriented approach to be applied to daily tasks.
- Ability to use PC, calculator, and/or other office equipment. Proficiency in using PC software, including word-processing and spreadsheets.
- Experience use personal computer (Microsoft Office Suite preferred).
PREFERRED:
- MA/MS/MBA degree. (course work in adult education a plus).
- Experience with Title XIX or XXI healthcare programs, including Medicaid, Medicare, or Child Health Insurance (CHIP)programs.
