CLIENT INFORMATION
You will be joining a industry leader for financial self-service solutions serving their largest and most complex customer.

This position will receive high visibility within their company and have access to all technology areas of the company. You will be challenged with industry-leading technology (software and hardware) issues/challenges and will support over 9,000 ATMs that are part of the clients ATM network totalling more than 16,000 devices. You will work in a demanding, dynamic customer lab environment that includes daily interface with both customers and competitors.

Interviews of qualified candidates will then be conducted by client executive, account executive, possibly VP - strategic accounts, and Manager - professional services).
An initial phone interview and then a final round of interviews in Charlotte NC for the short list of candidates.

Experience/Skills
Our client is seeking a Lead ATM Engineer to work as a client liaison and advocate. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail is CRITICAL. They need a candidate that has a robust technical and project management background plus the customer skills and political savvy required to work in a complex environment. Candidates with only technical skills and lacking the ability/desire to handle the customer facing/liaison aspects of the job will fail.

DUTIES
Perform programming and implementation of software modifications.
Assist with sales presentations and sales proposal preparation.
Provide customer training and system troubleshooting.
Advocate for corporate systems and consulting services.
Prepare customer software specifications.
Aid in planning/scheduling support activities.
Act as technical mentor for product specialty.
Guide and train customer staff in analysis and equipment operation.
Serve as project manager in tasks related to customer software product installation.
Interface with systems support personnel, local sales and service organizations, product/project management, software services and systems education.
Reporting to account executive.
Work in conjunction with our other account team systems engineer will be responsible for software and hardware certification; support of ATMs; project planning and management for multiple initiatives; and other related technical functions.
Work 95% of the time from clients ATM technology lab; the remaining 5% of the time will be from the company's Charlotte office;

EDUCATION /TECHNICAL SKILLS
BS in Computer Science, Math, or related area or equivalent education and experience
7 years programming experience withhigh level programming languages. Web language experience preferred, but all 4GLs or higher will be considered.
Minimum of one year project management.
