IT at Nike is over 900 professionals working on the most advanced business applications and e-commerce capabilities in the industry. For instance, our ERP utilizes SAP and Siebel, with SeeBeyond ICAN/e*Gate as the integration layer for all our Supply Chain applications. And that's just one example of the dozens of upgrades and improvements currently underway.

As our Business Intelligence Lead Application Engineer for Informatica, you'll work as a part of our Global Business Intelligence (GBI) organization on solutions helping to make information a competitive advantage for Nike. Your core responsibilities include the development of complex applications developed in Informatica. You'll also support projects by providing help, assistance and deliverables to Tier II projects for complex work as necessary. You'll be developing templates and reusable global objects. You'll work as a part of one of the teams responsible for developing and deploying these solutions that will enable the Nike Business Intelligence Strategy, including helping to lay the foundation for Nike's Enterprise Data Warehouse. You'll gain exposure to global scenarios, which require technical savvy, communication skills and the ability to effectively multitask and work in a cross-team environment. In this role, you'll collaborate with Business Systems Analysts and our business partners to develop technical solutions that meet business needs. You'll use your Informatica skills to develop BI solutions with Teradata, SAP BI (previously BW), MS SQL Server and Oracle platforms. In addition, you'll work with the GBI teams to implement these solutions into our production environment for use by our business partners.

Requirements for the position include:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field

- 6+ years' professional experience in IT, Business or a related field

- 2 years' additional professional experience in lieu of a degree

- 1 years' experience in a leadership role

- 3-4 years' experience using Informatica to develop complex solutions in support of Business Intelligence Systems

- Experience with other ETL tools is a plus

- Ability to perform application support, problem solving and issue resolution with internal and external resources

- Excellent communication, documentation and interpersonal skills

- A systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving

- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

- Ability to conduct problem solving and decision making at the operational and tactical level

- Expert-level understanding of applying technology solutions to business process (both standard and emerging)

- Experience with one or more of the following technologies is a plus: Teradata, MS SQL Server, Oracle, or SAP BI

- Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus
