Fortune 20 company with over 6200 locations and 2000 employees in headquarters is looking for a Lead Applications Architect for immediate hire.

Position Summary:
Design/Architecture/development/deployment of Open systems for the Core Finance team. The right individual will be able to take on the role of a Technical Lead on a non-package Application support team. This individual should be able to work with an Application Manager, Project Manager, and Team Lead in various project and day to day activities on a variety of Retail Finance applications.

Core Responsibilities:
-Provide clear and consistent direction/suggestions on the proper use of Microstrategy, Informatica, PL/SQL, JAVA within the corporate environment.
-Work with other associates in recommending optimal database solutions when necessary.
-Support of all Enterprise Methodology Documentation during the lifecycle of project.
-General tool administration, performance monitoring and analysis of processes.
-Design, develop, testing, and documentation of report/project development.
-Recommendation of system flow as it relates to requirement documents.
-Mentor development associates as necessary.
-Participation and conformance to the design, documentation and communication of standards (project, naming, usage, metrics etc).
-Assist in design and setup of project metadata and/or data models.

Job Requirements:
-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Product certifications a plus.
-3- 6 years of solid technical experience on an IS team that has is responsible for a number of diverse applications spanning multiple platforms.
-Experience with the MicroStrategy product suite, including Narrowcast, SDK, Object Manager, Informatica, SQL.
-Solid Experience in UNIX (Solaris preferred), Oracle and Windows (2000 and XP preferred).
-Experience with JAVA, n-Tier OO system architectures using a J2EE framework: Java/EJBs, JSPs, Servlets, JNDI, JDBC, RMI, iPlanet Application Server (6.5),
WebLogic Web Server, CocoBase Object Relational Mapping Tool (4.5), UNIX / Kornshell / Control_M / PC-Xware

Knowledge of the following would be a plus:
PL/SQL, Access Database, Control-M or scheduling software, PVCS Tracker or version control software, Experience with offshore project teams, financial applicationsdf-tc
