Description
The candidate filling this Lead Applications Systems Analyst/Programmer position will provide design, programming, testing, and documentation within a team of developers working on Java based web applications. The candidate will collaborate with other team members to add new modules to these applications as well as design new functionality for the applications. The candidate will also participate in analysis and data gathering from Program Direction to help in the design of the new modules and enhancements. RESPONSIBILITIES THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSE FOR: ? Software systems design, customization, coding, testing, debugging and documentation ? Software applications dealing with client server based systems, web based applications and program product layered software ? All revelant documentation for design, development and testing.

Requirements:

? 6+ years of IT and Client side experience ? Platform Tools: Netscape Enterprise Server, WebSphere App Server ? Full technical knowledge of all phases of software systems programming and design ? Full technical knowledge of object oriented programming ? Strong Java programming skills as well as technical knowledge of HTML, XML, JSPs, EJB, ASPs, J2EE, STRUTS, and JDBC. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: ? Candidate should be a Senior-level performer with the ability to take instructions. The candidate will be responsible for coding, testing, debugging, and documentation, quality assurance review and user satisfaction. ? Prepare written specifications and be able to work extensively with our user community. ? Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and will be responsible for user satisfaction. ? Self-starter as well as have the ability to work within a team and take direction. ? The candidate needs good English written and verbal communications skills and a maturing coding discipline ? The candidate must also be able to develop appropriate solutions to requests for new services and functionality. EDUCATION The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, with coursework in the information processing or business-related curricula, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessarydf-tc
