Ajilon Consulting is looking for a Lead Backup and Recovery Production Support Analyst for one of their clients in DE.

Position: Lead Backup and Recovery Production Support Analyst
Location: Wilmington, DE
Duration: FullTime

Description:

Primary responsibility will be management and performance of scheduled backups in the Beaver Valley Data Center as well as at remote site locations across multiple business areas and applications. Incumbent will also lead development projects to ensure backup and recovery requirements are identified and adequately addressed. In addition, incumbent will work with vendors to improve efficiency and reliability of backups and resolve hardware and software issues.

Education: Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Certifications: Legato certification preferred.

Minimum Experience: 1-3 years Legato experience in Unix environment, 3-5 years experience with Backup and Recovery.

Required: 1-3 years as team lead/management responsibility.

Knowledge: Must be knowledgeable about all aspects of backup and recovery operation using Legato in Unix and Windows environments. Disaster Recovery experience highly desired.

Travel Requirements: Local and Remote sites (10%)

Experience/Skills
Equipment and Software: HP and Solaris Unix, Legato, DNS, Win Server 2000/2003 NetApp, SharePoint, NDMP, HP ESL9500 and StorageTek L700. Microsoft Office.

Normal office environment. Responsible for communicating problems/status to senior management. Excellent written and verbal communications. Overtime and on-call support are required.
