G&K Services is a $1B company that has achieved 39 years of consecutive revenue growth. We are adding a Lead Data Architect to our IT team provide expertise in support of our mission to continue to enhance and build our information technology's systems!

As our Lead Data Architect, you will participate in creating a framework in support of Master Data Management (MDM), participate in creating a Business Architecture in support of enterprise SOA efforts, create and maintain data architecture artifacts such as data models, mappings, and dictionaries, and participate in discovery and design phases of data migration, integration and analytic projects. You will also have opportunities to build skills in integration and ETL development!

In this critical role, you will also:
·Work with the data and business analysts to collect the necessary information to in support of design activities related to integration, data migration and/or analytic projects
·Mentor business analysts on data architecture and processes
·Create the Capabilities and Business Architecture framework in support of the SOA in relation to the integration processes in addition to identifying BI capabilities
·Partner with the business on validation of data models and definitions, including MDM within the context of a given projectdf-tc

Experience/Skills
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following experiences and skills:
·8 + years experience in a combination of data warehousing, data architecture, and business architecture
·Data Architecture design including conceptual, enterprise and physical data modeling.
·Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
·Effective communication skills across both business and IT professionals.
·Ability to mentor, lead and work with both IT and business members to ensure a successful implementation of projects.
·Solid presentation skills when selling concepts, techniques and the framework of data architecture processes and deliverables to both the business and IT.

Specialized Knowledge include the following:
·Data and process modeling skills using tools such as AllFusion Modeling Suite, MS Visio.
·SOA experience
·Metadata integration tools
·Rational Rose
·Microsoft Motion

Other desired skills:
Lead Data Architect
