Description
The potential candidate will review operational data structures and recommend optimizations and reconfigurations as warranted. Develop and maintain all standards pursuant to data structures and models. Work with Clients, business analysts, technical staff and project team members to plan, design, develop, implement and enhance applications, scripts, procedures and metadata for relational databases. Work with database administrators to migrate complex large scale applications into system test and production environments. Work closely with 3rd party vendors to integrate selected packages. Recommend and evaluate new tools and methodologies. Will provide full life-cycle architectural guidance and ensure quality technical deliverables. Will serve as the data technical strategy expert and will lead the creation of all technical requirements and design deliverables. Develop schemas for all business applications.

Experience/Skills
8yrs or more of experience as a Data architect in an RDMS, MDDBS environment. 4yrs or more of experience as a Data Warehouse data architect; solid, quantifiable experience in Metadata standards, data modeling, ERD, Dimensional, use of modeling tools, Erwin, Oracle, Rational Rose, SQL/PL/SQL, Participation in at least 3 large enterprise data warehouse projects in the role of Lead Data Architect. Oracle and MS SQL. Experience in XML standards and Education transfer standards. Web based architecture.
