POSITION: Healthcare Lead Data Modeler/Program Manager with Payer Experience

DETAILED DESCRIPTION:

Key responsibility is for the Logical Data Model Project deliverables with oversight and guidance of data modelling for two additional ODS projects (Provider and Reference Codes).
Expert level data modeler with significant expertise with health care payer data and business processes and industry standard models, as well as enterprise data warehousing.
* Leverages prior health care payer modelling experience to create, refine or extend the enterprise data model within the scope of the business requirements.
* Creates conceptual data models including categories, subject areas, key entities and entity relationships conforming to the applicable data standards within the scope of the business requirements and leveraging prior health care payer experience.
* Creates logical data models that extend and attribute the conceptual models to an appropriate level of detail, along with accompanying documentation in conformance with the applicable data standards.
* Validate that the business requirements and technical specifications are complete, consistent, concise, and achievable.
* Responsible for collaborating with business analysts and data analysts to resolve gaps in business specifications to ensure those decisions are documented.
* Must be proactive and diligent in identifying and communicating scope, design, development issues and recommending potential solutions.
* Work with the business users to build consensus around the data models.
* Provide ongoing mentoring and industry knowledge transference to BSC data modelers throughout the engagement, with focus on provider domain expertise.
* Must have tool expertise required with ERwin modelling tool.
* Requires strong decision making, organizational, planning and problem solving skills.
