Resource 1 is in need of a Lead Java/ETL Developer for a 4 month contract (with extensions likely) located in Jersey City, NJ. This individual will be responsible for leading a development team on a large ETL application development project for a company within the Financial Services industry. Responsibilities include providing project team leadership, project management, coordinating work effort of offshore developments teams, validating development team work products, assisting with the development of designs and work estimates, etc. Must have 6-10 years experience as a Project Team Lead with a strong technical background that includes Java Development, ETL, and Perl.
Required Skills:- 6-10 years experience within a Team Leadership or Project Management role.- Application development experience utilizing Java and Perl.- Experience developing ETL programs; sourcing data from multiple sources, homogenizing data structures, and delivering to multiple users, etc.- Excellent communication skills required (both written and verbal).- Experience within the Financial Services industry is preferred and working with back-office systems is a plus.
