Compensation: $95,000 - 100,000/ Annually on W2

Role: Lead Network Engineer (W/ CCIE Certification)

Role Description: The Lead Network Engineer (W/ CCIE Certification) would need to have at least 10 years of experience. This Lead Network Engineer is a hands-on technical position that reports to the Manager of the Network Services Engineering. This position provides technical expertise and leadership for enterprise integrated and converged network systems. The position will lead the network design development process through the full implementation and deployment phases and will participate in the governance and approval processes as part of the network design and deployment life cycle.

Responsibilities:

- Network engineering design packages.
- Low level design.
- Local Area Network design.
- Wide Area Network design.
- Routing Protocols (EIGRP, BGP, and OSPF).
- Router/Switch deployment/configurations.
- VoIP solution deployment/configuration.
- WLAN solution deployment/configuration.
- Consults with clients to determine telephony requirements and recommend solutions in accordance with standard system procedures.
- Telephony and data problem resolution, escalation, and after-hours support coordination.

Required Skills:

- Strong technical project engineering skills are mandatory.
- Requires a strong customer focus and excellent analytical, problem solving, oral, telephone, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to interface with network vendors.
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco IOS, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS environments.
- Hands on experience with Cisco 3500, 3750, 4500, 6500 series equipment.
- Hands on experience with TDM PBXs (Nortel, Avaya, and Simon).
- Hands on VoIP and IP telephony experience (including Cisco Call Manager, Unity, UCCE/CVP, UCCX, and CER).
- Ability to document all aspects of network and services provided to users.

Qualifications:

- B.A./B.S. in CS/CIS/IS/MIS/Business or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 7 to 10 years of LAN/WAN engineering experience in a Global Enterprise Environment.
- 7 to 10 years of experience with Cisco equipment.
- 7 to 10 years of experience with TDM PBX systems.
- 5+ years of experience designing, evaluating, and recommending networking solutions.
- 7 to 10 years in the Networking/ Telecommunications industry.
- 5+ years working with telecommunications vendors.
- 3 to 5 years of experience designing and deploying enterprise level Cisco UC VoIP solutions.
- 1+ years experience in Network Security.
- 1+ years of VPN experience.
- 5+ years of experience with large construction projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Cisco CCIE Certification is a plus.
