Description
Management calibre, Senior Network Programmer, with a strong knowledge of C++ required for an established, industry leading AAA development studio with an extensive history of producing no.1 titles.

This company has several titles currently in development including two games that are breaking new ground in the multiplayer space for console/PC gaming. As a result they require an equally ambitious network specialist who is passionate about evolving and further advancing online gaming.

As part of a growing team in the ‘Racing studio’, you will be working on a highly acclaimed, racing title. Using your substantial experience to design, implement and document code modules and assisting in agreeing timescales with the group lead. To apply:

Knowledge of C++

Experience of developing multiple SKU, cross platform products and the associated development practices and procedures.

Understanding of network topologies and internet protocols


Desirable:

Degree Educated

Previous managerial experience, such as coaching and mentoring junior staff in p rogramming and technical techniques will be an integral part of this role

Experience with console matchmaking systems (e.g. Xbox Live, Playstation NP)

Experience with physics and menu systems
