Description
Unison Systems has an immediate opening for a Lead Sharepoint Administrator to manage and administer our client's Sharepoint Portal. This is a 6 month contract with potential extension at a very large Denver based client.

Job Responsibilities Include:
* Manage client's Sharepoint Site and User Administration, Intake Source, as well as serve as primary contact for all Tier 1 & Tier 2 trouble ticket resolution
* Responsible for working with client's IT and Sharepoint team to resolve systems issues
* Sharepoint Intake will involve working with others to design, test, and implement new sites and migration from existing sites
* User Training on client Sharepoint Site
* SharePoint System Administration: Maintain Document Libraries, Create and maintain Content types, Create and maintain workflows
* Process Improvement and Documentation
* Periodic/scheduled and Ad Hoc Reporting
* This position will address system issues, resolve escalations, and generate reports
* Evaluate processes, policies, procedures, systems, forms and reports as needed
* Facilitate issue resolution
* Work with client to document work process flows
* Participate in creating the system requirements and communicate to the designers, and ensure a clear and complete understanding of the requirements
* Assist in translating requirements into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, and user acceptance testing
* Communicate regularly to users and stakeholders on issues, changes, solutions
* Resolve day-to-day business process-related problems
* Ensure quality of all deliverables and tasks
* Work effectively as part of a team

Technical Background:
The person in this position should have a general knowledge of networking concepts and a basic understanding of Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 and SharePoint Server 2007. They will be a technically-oriented and expected to understand and/or be able to perform the following administrative activities:
IIS - Create new Web sites, host headers, and work with site security.
Create new user accounts and perform general user and group account activities.
SQL Server - Have a basic understanding of how SharePoint uses SQL Server
Windows 2003 Server - Have a basic understanding of MOSS integration with the server
Networking - Have a basic understanding and the ability to assign IP addresses, host names, and general connectivity issues

Basic Job Qualifications:
2 years MOSS experience required
3-5 years of relevant work experience (ex. process and requirements definition, functional design)
Good client interaction and communication skills
Ability to analyze and design processes
Ability to develop application requirements based on input gathered from a variety of sources including analysis results and feedback from the user community
Ability to develop test conditions and expected results based on the application requirements
Ability to review project deliverables for completeness and quality, and compliance with established project standards
Strong analytical skills; Good business process acumen; Strong oral and written communications skills, and specifically strong documentation skills; Strong Microsoft Office skills (excel, word, powerpoint, outlook); Ability to work with and apply defined methodologies; Good problem solving skills; Ability to work under pressure;Team player
