Description
HSI's client, a leading bank, needs a seasoned professional with technical console operations capabilities and knowledge.Approximately five or more years related experience as a Lead Console Operator in JES2 OS/390 Parallel Sysplex environment will be needed. The selected candidate will also be able to work independently and understand multiple data center concepts.

Responsibilities:

-Monitoring and Problem resolution related to Mainframe backup environment utilizing IBM's XRC technology.
-Proactively identify hardware, software and media problems. Escalate appropriately within the established guidelines.
-Support and participate incompany initiatives that improve throughput, deliverables, quality and cost.
-Other duties will include Mounting Tapes, Slot tapes, Work/troubleshoot SiLO issues, identify Network Problems, IPL/Use a HMC, Z/OS Operating System
-Provide MBNA with superior Customer Service.df-tc
