Description
3H Technology has an immediate opportunity for a Lead Software Engineer in our Reston location. Join our team of technical professionals developing innovative business solutions.

The successful candidate will:
? Demonstrate exceptional client-facing abilities in communication, analysis of high-level business requirements, and effective writing skills.
? Develop and implement applications and sites.
? Demonstrate expertise in managing software development environments.
? Demonstrate ability and expertise in leading team of developers, and providing knowledge transfer and industry best practices.
? Provide overall technical guidance and expertise for software development tasks.

Position requirements include:
* US Citizenship and an active DoD security clearance required.**
? 8 years experience in a technical software development environment and 5 years leading technical teams.
? Hands-on development experience in at least one of the following 4 areas of development: Data Warehouse/ETL, COTS Reporting and Analytic tools, Portal Development, and Database.
? Must possess the experience to consistently apply industry best practices to develop strategies and recommend the most effective development approaches languages and tools.
? Must possess full life-cycle web development experience, with emphasis on requirements analysis and design.
? Develop design and construction strategies based on business requirements and technical strengths of development platforms.
? Provide hands-on guidance with development solutions including ETL, online analytical processing (OLAP), portal, and database tools.
? Must have experience and be able to provide technical leadership to less experienced development team members.
? Solution Architecture to assist in evaluating client environment where integration is required (i.e., Client portals, use of LDAP, Security guidelines, firewalls)is desirable.

Technical Skill Requirements: Skills with at least two of the following tools and products:
? Ascential Data Stage
? Business Objects
? Vignette
? NCR Teradata

**Must have an active DoD clearance**
