We are looking for a Lead Systems Administrator who is passionate about systems infrastructure. If you are interested in an opportunity to lead the systems area while maintaining your hands-on knowledge, we have the position for you. IDMI, founded in 1994, is the premier provider of fast yet high quality data processing services for fundraising, political, humanitarian, and ministry organizations. We provide processing services and database systems to help organizations respond to their customers and donors in a personalized and timely manner.

The Lead Systems Administrator is responsible for multiple IDMI locations, including design and support of the server and network infrastructure and security of the high availability systems. The Lead Systems Administrator also directs and mentors the help desk resource. The candidate must have 5 years real world experience administering network and server systems.

Ideal candidate will have hands on experience with many of the following areas;

Windows 2003 Server administration (active directory and group policy)

MS Exchange Server 2003 administration

VMWare and SAN administration

Microsoft Clustering and Load Balancing

Citrix Metaframe

SQL Server administration

Firewall configurations and security

Cisco IOS and networking

Systems performance monitoring and alerting

Disaster recovery planning

Standards, policies and procedures creation

Lead experience helpful

Global experience helpful

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent experience and 5 years real world experience (Microsoft and Cisco certifications a plus!)

Proven track record of success

Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills

Project leadership skills

Ability to work well in a team environment

Strong oral and written communication skill
