The BearingPoint Integration Services Group is currently searching for a Lead Technical Architect within the justice and public safety community. This career position includes pre-sales system architecture development, marketing and proposal authoring. Additional responsibilities include new justice and public safety solution development, new project start up, staffing and delivery oversight.

Location: Northeast USA
Relocation: available

Performance Profile:

-Support pre-sales technical discussions, opportunity evaluations and marketing efforts
-Author whitepapers, technical diagrams and lead in technical demonstration development
-Assess request for proposals to derive a technical solution architecture, document the solution and author/lead the technical proposal
-Aid in project planning, estimating and other project costing activities
-Attend justice and public safety industry events and volunteer for working groups, advisory councils
-Conduct new technology research in support of justice and public safety solutions


Position-specific Required Skills:

4 years experience in implementing Justice and Public Safety Solutions
-8 years technical system and application architecture experience
-10 years experience in technology delivery
-Technical 4 year degree
-Excellent technical writing and presentation skills
-Global Justice XML Data Model experience


Position-specific Desired Skills:
-Previous public sector professional consulting experience
-SOA design, analysis and implementation
-Enterprise Application Integration, Message Oriented Middleware
-Knowledge of the Justice lifecycle, major business processes and industry view
-Technical project planning, estimating and new project start experience
-Technical solution innovation experience
-Structured system design and analysis, system performance experience a plus
-Professional technical certifications a plus

-Travel requirement 50%-75%
