Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop RF IC Test Solutions using ATEs. Design of automated test applications for RF Amplifiers and to provide support for legacy systems (both hardware and software). Generate new or review existing measurement designs, test procedures, & test set-ups. Perform RF analysis for design & development of Test hardware in support of RF testing. Create appropriate test metrics, and documentation. Become the company expert on RF measurements and calibration

QUALIFICATIONS:

5+ years applicable experience with a Bachelors, MSEE preferred with direct experience designing Analog/RF Test Circuits. Hands on experience with RF test equipment, RF Analysis, test requirements, & new RF measurement designs

EXPERIENCE:

Expertise in RF equipment (Frequencies up to 10GHz), history of RF design for application, test fixture and/or testing. Expertise in test strategy definition, history of Production line application. Knowledge of Digital Microwave Communications. Knowledge of communications protocols (RS-232). Must have extensive knowledge of RF test development and debug. Must have strong Labview development skills (as well as good experience with Matlab,C/C++, & VB). Must have strong knowledge of electronic test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, noise figure meters, power meters, and phase noise systems.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

Experience on Credence, LTX, or Teradyne platforms strongly preferred, as well as the ability to develop test solutions for mixed-signal or digital devices as needed. Complete familiarity with S parameter measurements and lab equipment. Complete familiarity with striplines and impedance matching on PCB's.df-tc
