Description
CDI IT Solutions is currently looking for a Lead Test Engineer.

Will be writing, maintaining and executing automation scripts for standardized library of test scripts.


Responsibilities:

Creates defect tickets, status reports and tracks issues to resolution.

Collects metrics and utilizes other effective approaches to measure quality whereby reducing waste, streamlining the QA processes and improving product quality.

Monitors test progress throughout the release cycle, communicates test results, issues and risks to team members.

Conducts tests to validate that functionality is consistent with specifications.

Develops functional automation scripts from test case requirements using QuickTest Pro.

Creates regression suites and executes full automated regression testing.

Mentors Team members on QuickTest Pro setup, usage and execution.

Performs root cause analysis of test issues.


Required Skills:

4+ years experience developing QuickTest Pro automation scripts, TestDirector (Test Plan, Test Lab), and 4+ years QA experience testing SAP and/or client/server products in a Microsoft Windows environment.


Skills/Knowledge Requirements:

In-depth knowledge of test automation tools, tech.

Proficient in writing automation test scripts using QTP.

High proficiency in one programming language, VB, VB Script, C, Java, etc. and an understanding of object oriented concepts.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
