Position: Lead Test Engineer
Location: Chicago Loop
Travel Required: None
Salary Range: $90,000 to $105,000 + Bonus

Company Description: A well-established and well-known provider of financial analytics located in the Loop.

Requirements: This person will manage the testing effort for all releases: strategy, layout, scheduling, tracking, reporting. What is expected is that at any point in time, the lead test engineer will know the testing status of the current release, that problems will be dealt with a timely manner, that this person will have excellent communications skills and that there will be 'crisis free' management of the project. The head of Q/A would greatly prefer to not have this person come to her with problems. Manage a project, not people. The product is a large and very complex highly configurable, true multi tier, web based application for financial analysis.

Duties: This person will interface primarily with four people: a Business Analyst, the Project Manager; the head Architect, and the Product Manager. Excellent communication skills are required. The Q/A Manager is sharp, funny, friendly, nice and extremely competent. She is looking for someone that is sharp, friendly, extremely nice and competent.
