Description
Our client has an immediate need for a Lead Unix Systems Administrator to provide system administration and support. Job responsibilities include: Update installation, support, and best-practice documents, Identify and document procedures for migration of web assets, Assist in any necessary load and performance testing and Report status and hours worked weekly. System Administration experience (esp. on Sun and Linux)with some
enterprise software design and development experience preferred;
Working knowledge of Java application architecture (including Java
coding, technologies, and best practices) BEA Weblogic, BMC Patrol,
Apache, iPlanet, Perl, firewalls, switches, routers, DNS, SMTP, LDAP,
shell scripts. Must have excellent communication and organization skills and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and communicate status and
issues in a timely manner.
