Lead Unix System Administrator
South San Francisco, CA

We are established drug discovery and development biopharmaceutical company located in South San Francisco. We currently have a need for a full time permanent Lead Unix Systems Administrator.

In this hands-on position you will oversee one Unix Administrator and be responsible for all Unix based hardware and software support. You will also support network storage, perform company-wide backup infrastructure and manage vendor relations.

This position requires a minimum 8 years of recent Unix Systems Administration on Unix Solaris and Linux with Oracle back-end. Expertise on Veritas, EMC (or similar) SAN / NAS storage, and knowledge of Cisco Wide Area Networking (LAN/WAN).
