Location - Peapack, NJ
Duration - 1 to 2 year project

Skill-Set Title: LMS Project Lead

Background:

Candidate should have strong analytical and leadership skills with the ability to understand and interpret customer requirements, develop business solutions, provide team guidance and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.

Objectives:
This person must quickly assess the project requirements and planned deliverables of a Learning Management System and help lead LMS project efforts. This hand-on leader will not only guide resources in the Software Development Life Cycle of 21 CFR Part 11 Compliant solution (ie design, development, unit testing, integration testing, validation and implementation, etc.) but will also actively participate in the development and execution of deliverables (ie project plans/proposals, budgets/cost estimates, status reports, SOPs, etc).

Scope:
Knowledge of the following technologies is essential: Oracle 10g, Sun Solaris 9/10, and Windows XP. Must have at least 7 years experience in supporting applications in a Web Application Server environment using technologies such as Java (JRE), Internet Explorer, Apache, Bea Weblogic 8.1 and other PC based programming languages and databases. It would be desirable if the candidate has prior experience with a Learning management systems with special emphasis on application development and support using Active Learner, Plateau and/ot SumTotal. Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry will be a plus.

Other Qualifications:
Must be willing to travel and to work overtime hours.
Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing with internal technical staff, IT Management team, and outside vendors.
Must be very proficient in project management, customer relationships and balancing ongoing support and project initiatives.
On call 24x7 support rotations with team for production issues.

Training & Education Preferred
BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree
Prior Experience Preferred
Experience leading IT projects; Must be familiar with 4 or more components - Oracle 10g, Sun Solaris 9/10, Windows XP, Java(JRE), Internet Explorer, Apache and Bea Weblogic 8.1
