Excellent opportunity at a fast growing, technology driven organization. Our IT Team is recruiting for a full time, senior level Linux Administrator that also has hands on experience with the Cache Database product. This position will be the Project Manager to migrate us off a VMS platform and onto a Linux platform comprised of several HP DL380 Servers. Candidates must have minimum 4 years experience as a Systems Administrator in a Windows and/or Linux environment and be able to set-up, configure, test and deploy production servers. Must have experience installing Linux servers (We use RedHat) and associated network equipment, including SANS, SCSI, RAID, and I/O topology. Specific knowledge of HP Proliant platform wanted, as well as strong working knowledge of CACHE relational database or similar Database products (DB2, Oracle, Sybase) enough to be able to be quickly trained on CACHE.This position will support several internal Cache 5.0 databases and be the primary liaison with our Application vendor. ISO19977, SAS70 and HIPPA knowledge desirable, with heavy emphasis on data security tools and procedures. Candidates should have or be working toward MCSE, CISSP Certifications.Must be able to effectively collaborate and communicate with all levels of the organization.
