We're looking for an experienced Linux Administrator.



This position will require about 25% travel, mostly domestic US. Position will be responsible for diagnosing, configuring and troubleshooting Linux systems on customer sites.



Background required:

Required: Applicant must be a U.S. citizen with a current U.S. passport or the ability to obtain one quickly, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance for installations at government secure sites. Applicant must be willing to travel on short (1-3 days) notice.

This individual should be able to work extremely well independently and handle unforeseen field situations calmly and methodically. The position requires a person who is diligent, methodical, conscientious, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and has good customer presentation skills. At least 3 years of intensive Linux experience is required and should include network and driver reconfiguration experience.

Key Responsibilities:

. Maintain reliable, scalable and secure LINUX Red Hat servers.
. Investigate and research and diagnose technical issues
. Patch management
. Work with developers and users to resolve application issues
. Show leadership in establishing best practices for LINUX administration.





Job Requirements:
. 3+ years of Enterprise Linux servers, with expertise in Red Hat.
. Must have excellent troubleshooting skills and be able to support a high availability production environment
. Familiarity with Routers, Switches
. Solid knowledge of Information Security issues
. Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
