Job Description:

This person is taking over the network engineering duties of the current department, as well as the telecomm duties. You will also do some telecomm support. The client is looking for a network engineer who can assit with the phone system and LAN/WAN duties.

Requirements/Job Duties

*Sys Admin duties/requirements (must be able to do the following:
-Hardware installation with Servers and Switches
-Configure VPN's(Virtual Private Network), both site to site and dial-in
-Monitor Network Performance (Making sure the Network is healthly and running)
-Must have experience with Linux(Most Important), Windows 2003 and Exchange Server 2003 and be able to update, migrate and patch all 3 of these

MicroSoft EXP can be intermediate

*Admin & Troubleshooting duties/requirements:
-Must ahve a majority of these experience with: DNS, DHCP, SMTP, POP3, IMAP, HTTPS, SSH, NIS/YP, NetBios/SMB, LDAP, NFS, ISOSI & SMTP
-Must be able to setup, deploy on Exchange Server 2003
-Must have Active Directory experience such as admin users, group replication, etc.
-Will do some Shell Scripting, SH/BASH/ZSH, PERL & PHP

Skills that are plus:

*Telephony
Nortel telephony support and LAN/WAN support
