Description
72233 Do you want to work for a very profitable and stable Massachusetts based software company? Do you want to work on exciting and complex problems relating to kernel level development, memory management, clustering, and high availability systems? Do you want to work with a team of experienced developers who are as passionate about development as you are?

My client is looking for a Linux/Unix Systems Engineer to work on their continuous availability servers that are sold to major financial institutions.

Experience:

7+ years of Linux/Unix Development.
C++ and/or Java.
A solid background in computer architectures.
Experience with the TCP/IP stack.
Working knowledge of most for the following:
Memory management
Scheduling
Process management
Interrupt routing
Experience working on mission-critical high availability systems is a HUGE plus.
Experience with virtualization, fault tolerant systems, and/or clustering is also a MAJOR plus.
