Linux Security Administrator

Requirements for this position include:
- At least 3 years of working Linux experience, including: Installation, managing, and troubleshooting.
- Must understand basic Linux daemons: Samba, bind/djbdns/nscd, postfix/qmail, squid, nagios, cups.
- Must have some security experience, software, hardware and physical.

Highly desired skills:

- Perl and Shell scripting

- Install and manage Debian/Ubuntu

- Virtualization experienced, preferably VMware ESX/Virtual Infrastructure

Preferred skills/experience:

An understanding Openldap/AD
Web applications Tomcat, Jboss, Apache
Iptables

Travel:

Minor travel for routine maintenance (1-2 times a year).

Responsibilities:

Managing security for the enterprise.

Troubleshoot and maintain existing systems.

Build and deploy new systems.

Light production work which would include: adding new users to AD and LDAP, assigning FAX numbers, troubleshoot email delivery problems, managing email lists, and documenting procedures.
