Description
High energy, cutting edge, Motion Picture Digital Intermediate production
facility is looking for experienced Linux sys admin /data wrangler who is
not afraid to be challenged. Administrator duties include maintenance,
upkeep and integration of multiple (mostly)linux, with some windows and mac
boxes via NFS.

Extensive knowledge of Linux OS including Linux Kernel Configuration/Patches and Networking including fiber switches, Gigabit
Ethernet (NFS), Raids Drive Arrays is mandatory. Most interaction with
network is command line so individual must be highly proficient with command
line syntax and shell scripting.


Data wrangling includes movements into, through and out of our 20-terabyte networks.
Film/video background and or programming are a plus!
