Description
SENIOR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR
Job duties
Support and administer multiple platforms, primarily LINUX and UNIX, Windows experience is a plus. Duties include; installation, configuration and support of LINUX/UNIX servers. MUST have an expert level understanding of open source systems.

The ideal candidate would also have familiarity with MySQL and/or PHP or similar. Network topology is not required but would be helpful.

Analyzing and implementing client projects with well-defined system requirements and recommendations;

Consulting, training and coordinating with client executives, financial professionals, and information technology consultants to achieve project goals;

Responsible for daily production support to clients via telephone, modem, and on-site troubleshooting.

Requirements
1. Master's degree in Computer Science or related field with 4 years experience related to the job duties as listed above;
2. Some possiblity of nominal, brief travel to Canada to set up data centers.
