Lab Manager to provide Linux System Administration support for Government systems.

Task activities include:
Administering user accounts, troubleshooting Linux applications to include security applications, writing Shell Scripts as needed, running rpms and patches, performing regression testing and configuration management.

Special Technical Skills:

Required:
At least three (3) years experience with: RedHat Linux 4, Writing Shell Scripts, Running rpms, Running patches, Performing regression testing, Configuration management, Troubleshooting, Background in Information Assurance/Security. Familiarity with: Linux applications (ie, audit daemon, ftp, IP, Firewalls, all security applications), User account administration tools, Linux Pluggable Authentication Tool (PAM), Dell Power Edge Servers.

Specific efforts shall include: 
Install software required for system operation. Perform hardware troubleshooting for non-functioning systems. Provide management of Government lab equipment.
