For this contract position, you bring your localization experience to this world-renowned software company.



Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driveing the localization process for a product from English into another language
  • Ensuring that the Software Localization Kit is fully functional and usable for software localization
  • Working closely with testing to assess localizability and uncover localization bugs
  • Supervising that the process for ensuring bug fixes is appropriate
  • Facilitating communication of software localization and tools strategy with related localization teams
  • Testing pre-release code and helps to debug the product
  • Providing technical assistance for other team members
  • Performing spot-check QA on externally localized pieces to ensure technical accuracy

Experience/Skills

  • 3 to 4 plus years work related experience preferred
  • Must have appropriate programming skills and knowledge of localization process
  • Knowledge and experience with Windows family of operating systems required
  • Fluency in the target language is required, including a high level of familiarity with technical terms
  • Fluency in English required
  • Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with both team members and subcontractors
  • Must have excellent problem solving and time management skills
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English required
  • Fluency in Chinese a plus
