Description

For this contract position you will bring your skills as a Localization Engineer to one of the world's premier software companies.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the localization process for a product from English into another language using Trados and other localization tools
  • Ensuring that the UA Localization Kit is fully functional and usable for UA localization
  • Working closely with testing to assess localizability and uncover localization bugs
  • Supervising the process for ensuring bug fixes is appropriate
  • Facilitating communication of UA localization and tools strategy with related localization teams
  • Testing pre-release code and helping to debug the product
  • Providing technical assistance for other team members
  • Performing spot-check quality assurance on externally localized pieces for technical accuracydf-tc

    Experience/Skills
  • 3-4 plus years work related experience
  • Appropriate programming skills and knowledge of localization process
  • Knowledge and experience with Windows family of operating systems
  • Knowledge and experience with Trados
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective communication skills with both team members and subcontractors
  • Excellent problem solving and time management skills
  • High-level organization skills and attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
