Summary of Position:
The Logistics Specialist is primarily responsible for supporting the
development, implementation and maintenance of the Enterprise Inventory
Control systems, policies and procedures in a Shared Services environment. Qualified candidates must also be able to identify non-optimal business practices and be able to research, design, present and implement alternative solutions, keep abreast of changes in Enterprise operations and new product offerings, share best practices and
understand the impact to the customer value chain.


Position Responsibilities:
1. Provides support to field operations on all SCM related policies, procedures and processes to ensure optimal inventory levels
(non stock, stock and customer premise equipment).
2. Coordinate Full Physical/Cycle Counts at field locations.
3. Update and Maintain Enterprise Item Master in Oracle.
4. Assists in the preparation of SCM reporting and provides analysis of data and trends to facilitate decision making.
5. Assist in the development and preparation of SCM methods and procedures.
6. Responsible for the update and maintenance of all information on
the SCM website.
7. May assist in the preparation and delivery of Enterprise
Inventory Operations Training.
8. Assists in SCM month-end close procedures.
9. May occasionally represent SCM on Cross Functional Teams.
10. Provide support for various SCM projects (Drop Ship, Bar Coding,
etc.).
11. Supports internal/external audit efforts related to SCM.
12. Performs other SCM related duties as assigned.

Experience/Skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. College degree or equivalent experience required.
2. Required 2 to 5 years of work experience in Supply Chain, Operations, IT or Customer Care. CATV Industry experiences a plus.
3. Work experience in ICOMS or comparable customer billing system
preferred.
4. Experience with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, FrontPage).
5. Proven customer focused skills.
6. Strong analytical skills.
7. Ability to work independently and proactively to develop
solutions with minimal guidance.
8. Excellent oral and written communications skills.
9. Travel up to 25% expected.
