Pointe Technology Group is currently supporting an international leader in developing and delivering advanced aerospace and defense systems for military and commercial customers in the U.S. and around the world. We are looking for a Logistics Systems Analyst to support a variety of DOD projects. Job location is Silver Spring, MD. This is a full time salaried position with benefits. A logistics analyst is being sought to perform analysis of TRIDENT submarine logistics data. Automated Shore Interface (ASI) report analysis, allowance reconcilliation processing and analysis of shipboard Non-tactical ADP Program (SNAP) and Optimized Naval Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS) software. Effort involves the review of submarine material allowance data , supply and configuration data errors, and the coordination of the corrective actions with cognization activities (including Naval Inventory Control Point, Electric Boat, and BAE Systems waterfront representatives in Bangor, WA and Kings Bay, GA)

The position requires quarterly travel to the East and West Coasts to support SWS week, Material Support reviews, and other logistics meetings. Meeting support includes meeting coordination, generation of agenda and meeting minutes, and tracking of action items.

Must have the following:

10+ years US Navy Supply experience

Ability to work indenpendently

Excellent communication skills

Preferences:

5+ year experience with Ported Shipboard Non-tactical ADP Program (SNAP) and Optimized Naval Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS), Familiar with Automated Shore Interface (ASI) processing, knowledge of COSAL development, TRIDENT submarine logistics/supply experience, familiar with SWS material support requirements, familiar with US Navy configuration and allowance management processes, familiar with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access
