•Strong organizational and time management skills•Professional communication (verbal and written) skills•Experience designing and tuning SharePoint 2007 sites to meet clients’ needs•Experience creating wire frame diagrams of proposed sites and pages•Thorough understanding of SharePoint navigation options (global, local, breadcrumbs, tree view)•Thorough understanding of the out-of-the-box web parts provided in SharePoint Server 2007 and pros and cons of different web parts (such as Content Query Web Part)•Thorough understanding of SharePoint Master Pages, Page Layouts and CSS files•Experience with creating content types and site columns•Experience with using the SharePoint 2007 content deployment features•Experience with SharePoint Designer 2007 for master page customization, style sheet modification, data view configuration etc.•Experience migrating content from one SharePoint tier or site collection to another•HTML & Client side scripting (Javascript, AJAX, DHTML, XSL, XSLT, XHTML, CAML)•Thorough knowledge of “Web 2.0” features of SharePoint: Blogs, Wikis, Social Networking (Profiles & My Sites).•Experience with Office 2003 and Office 2007 applications integrating with SharePoint 2007 for standard functionality.
