Description
US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED Provide Notes/Domino server administration to include 1) Monitor server status using automated vendor (IBM and CA) tools; 2) Troubleshoot Domino service and operating system problems; 3) Apply patches, fixes, and updates as needed. Troubleshoot problems with mail routing to include receipt of internet mail, server replication, cluster access, etc. Utilize all resources available such as monitoring tools, Lotus Knowledge Base and technical support. Complete all applicable documentation including test plans, change requests, and outage notifications. Complete all steps of the standard application release process for all custom applications developed by other groups. Promote applications from the development environment, through the migration environment, to the production environment using Team Studio/Ciao configuration control software. Modify ACL settings, apply templates, and lock down applications. Track application release requests through the Test Center and approval cycle as maintained in a Notes application, and complete corresponding releases on schedule. Use release notes and coordinate with development groups to identify individual release instructions. Complete all application releases during non-production hours (production hours are 7 am to 8 pm, Monday through Saturday). Assist developers as needed to complete the release process. Provide primary administration of SendMail MTA, Brightmail Antispam, ScanMail antivirus, and McAfee antivirus. Implement upgrades and patches for these products to include coordinating the test environment, product testing, and implementation schedule. Ensure proper operational configuration for performance and reliability. Requirements  At least 4 years demonstrable experience in Domino Enterprise server v5 or v6.  At least 5 years demonstrable experience in Windows Server or Sun Solaris O/S.  At least 4 years demonstrable experience in Lotus Notes client support.  At least 4 years relevant and demonstrable experience in supporting email systems.  Demonstrable experience is virus protection and spam blocking software for email systems.
