Description
The candidate will focus primarily on infrastructure design and support for Notes Domino 6.0 mail and application servers. We currently run Notes on Redhat Linux with some application servers on W2K platforms. The candidate should have a firm understanding of the functionality within R6 for both server, client, administrative and web/application server perspective.



Our environment also includes Trend IMSS for virus and Spam prevention, Sendmail V.8, Blackberry Enterprise Server, Sametime chat and several UNIX applications that are mail enabled. The candidate must possess the ability to work in both a team environment and independently, and must manage his/her time and deliverables effectively.



Successes in this position is defined as having the ability to understand business issues, properly prioritizing their time to implement, document and maintaining solutions. The candidate will interface with all levels of technological support teams and clients in all business groups.

Implement solutions according to ISD standards and strategic plans in order to meet defined business needs (including office automation, custom applications support, enterprise service support, etc.)



Provide 2nd level support to operational teams for complex problems arising out of the messaging environment.


Managing the implementation, testing and ongoing support of client/server based application solutions according to the published ISD SDM (Systems Development Methodology) project life cycle.



Identify and implement automated processes and solutions to enhance the efficiency of the messaging services.

Experience/Skills
Certified for Lotus Domino support in version R5 and/or R6 with Lotus scripting experience.



3 to 5 years of technical, hands-on experience in the LAN, desktop and mobile computing arenas including experience with the following hardware, software and communications products and technologies:

Windows 2000, Windows XP and Linux Operating Systems



Proven ability to manage medium to large-scale LAN projects utilizing formal project management tools and techniques (including Microsoft project and a systems development life cycle methodology).



BS/BA preferred
