MAC/CISCO Network Tech - 3140

Serve as a member of network, Apple Laptop and wireless team . Responsible for integration, deployment activities on new and existing wireless networking systems. Implement and monitor the technical operation, specifications and administration of wireless network. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and outages for both wired and wireless TCP/IP network. Work with network team to provide guidance for securing wireless 802.11 LANs, network penetration, handheld devices, laptops, Blackberries, Local Area Networks (LANs). Experience in a wireless communications environment, with emphasis on client support; Cisco wireless controllers (WCS) and access points (AP);Symantec Antivirus (SAV); laptop configuration, imaging and testing;

Skills:

. In-depth understanding of MAC OS X Leopard Server , support essentials, and Work Group Management.

. Managing and supporting local Exchange 2007 Servers and clients.

. Virtual Infrastructure management. Familiar with ITouch and Apple collaboration software, Objective C and Xcode.

. In-depth knowledge of wireless networks protocols and standards

. Strong understanding of how different systems communicate (network protocols) - TCP, IP, and VOIP

. Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows 2003 and 2007 Server OS's along with patches and upgrades

. Working with Active Directory and in an enterprise environment

. Installation and configuration of server-based applications and utilities including patches and upgrades - specifically, Symantec software

. Knowledge of pushing antivirus software updates out from the Servers to the desktops. Managing Security Policies

. Knowledge of WINS, DNS, and DHCP

. General server hardware knowledge with the ability to build, upgrade, install, and troubleshoot enterprise level, rack mounted servers.

. Monitoring and supporting server performance . Managing and supporting local Groupwise and Exchange 2007 Servers and clients.

. Understanding of Cisco Call manager 6.0 and Unity 5.0 . Understanding of Cisco NAC and Securing networks through ASA, and MARS

. Good People skills
