Description
We are looking for a Desktop Analyst with 4-6 years experience. To Provide World Class customer service and support to our client Publishing and Creative Services departments that are responsible for producing the largest circulation periodicals in the nation and our client branded marketing materials. This position supports Our Client's Macintosh Users. Potential candidates will have excellent Mac troubleshooting and customer service skills, as well as basic project management experience.

The position will be part of the corporate IT team that provides Macintosh desktop support, IT strategy, engineering, and project management and implementation services to our client Creative Service and Publishing units. The minimum duration for this position is 6 months with a strong possibility for open-ended extension based on performance.

1.) Technical knowledge:
QuarkXpress, Adobe Creative Suite, Server-based Font Management, MS Entourage/Exchange
Macintosh Operating System (OS X), Software, & Hardware troubleshooting
Mac Software Package deployment & management in Enterprise environment
Basic Networking
Mac integration to large Windows Enterprise and Systems environment

Creativity in problem solving

3.) Administration & Management:
Ability to strategize and manage small projects from start to completion
Good writing skills

Additional Experience:
Mac OS X scripting
Conduct user requirements and systems and process analysis to recommend solutions; Developing documentation
Knowledge of print publishing and its production processes
Knowledge in Quark Publishing Systems
Knowledge in Magazine advertising sales processes and business intelligence reporting
Assist the project management team, which provides services including project tracking and coordination, gathering and documentation of project scope and business requirements.
