FINANCIAL INSTITUTION EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY FOR CONSIDERATION
POSITION OVERVIEW, MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
Provide expertise in the full range of technology controls practices: information risk management, business continuity management, IT control policies
Plan, design, implement, and maintain the Prime Brokerage & Proprietary Positioning technology controls program
Develop and maintain strong business and technology relationships, becoming a trust partner to these groups.
Interpret corporate and industry control guidelines and policies, and guide constituents to ensure compliance.
Ensure that technology control issues/gaps are documented clearly and that remediation plans are developed to address.
Develop, maintain, and publish project plans for all key control initiatives.
Publish project and operational status reports, targeted to varying audience requirements.
Build a culture and climate focused on the pro-active awareness of, and continuous improvement in, the technology risk environment.
Role Specific Responsibilities:

Define and execute a technology controls awareness strategy, leveraging internal resources and toolsets as appropriate.
Provide guidance and direction for IB Technology on all aspects of application risk and controls
Communicate the practical implications of technology control decisions, issues, and plans to project sponsors and managers.
Work with business & technology partners to investigate and resolve control incidents or violations that may arise.
Execute an effective risk management program, leveraging key processes such as Re-certifications, Outside Service Provider Reviews
Coordinate interaction with internal and external audit on control requirements and issues.
Work closely with technology groups to ensure quality and consistency of Control Self Assessment reviews and Sarbanes Oxley testing. Provide hands-on support of testing activities, where necessary, to support efforts. Ensure successful remediation programs are in place to address any gaps arising from those reviews.
Partner with global Infrastructure TCO constituents to ensure global program consistency, and an open exchange of ideas and best practices.


THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS ARE MANDATORY:

. 4 year accredited college degree
. Minimum of 6-8 years of IT work experience
. Detailed knowledge of Project Lifecycle and IT Control Policies
. Strong written and verbal communications skills
. Strong client relationship and influencing skills
