MCSA System Administrator & experience in: Network Operations Center, NOC, PCI DSS Controls compliance standards testing certification audits; on-line transactions, regulation portals, manage hosting services, credit card payment, on-line payment processing, e-payment processing, FIREWALLS SECURITY workstations; Servers & controls; Cisco Routers, SNMP; VPNs; Packet capture and decoding, VLANs, Routing protocols, including OSPF and BGP, DNS, IDS Systems. Windows 2000; Windows 2003; Active Directory; Antivirus software; Security Software; IIS, Cabling and cable management, Switches (Cisco and Foundry Networks); Routers (Cisco); Load Balancing (Foundry Networks), Ping Utility, Trace Route, Sniffer Software; Firewalls (Cisco ASA); CISCO switches; Froundry Switches, Brocade, Juniper.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree (Computer Science or Electrical Engineering) required
- or equivalent education and experience to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

Minimum five (5) years experience with network and security troubleshooting including:
--- Experience in backup software and services such as CommVault and LiveVault.
--- Expert knowledge and understanding of Intrusion Detection Software.
--- Expert knowledge and understanding of general network administration and security
practices.
--- Experience in a 24x7, mission-critical data center environment with stringent uptime requirements and controlled change processes.
--- Experience with major, mission-critical network implementation projects including PCI DSS Compliance.
--- Significant experience with planning and design of networks and security.

Minimum four (4) years experience understanding and working with network functions
or in an internal support environment including experience in :
--- CISCO & Foundry/Brocade switches/networks; CISCO Routers;
--- WAN/LAN; Clustering; TCP/IP; Firewalls; SNMP; VPNs; Packet capture and
decoding;
--- VLANs, Routing protocols, including OSPF and BGP, DNS, IDS Systems;
--- Switches (Cisco and Foundry Networks); Routers (Cisco);
--- Load Balancing (Foundry Networks), Ping Utility, Trace Route; Sniffer Software; Firewalls (Cisco ASA).

*Minimum three (3) years experience with network/security design and architecture with expert level knowledge/experience required in the following:*
--- Network Operations Center (NOC) design to Implementation, PCI DSS including guidelines, standards, Controls, Compliance, Testing, Certification & Audits;
--- Credit card payment portals; on-line payment processing, e-payment processing;
Regulation Portals, Content Management Portals; managing hosting services;
--- Manage Services/Managing Hosting Services;
--- Implementing Servers Security and Controls;
--- Workstation FIREWALLS/SECURITY & Controls;

Minimum two (2) years experience managing three or more direct reports;

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, planning and architecture of the production and corporate network, including determination of areas for improvement, evaluation of solutions, implementation planning, implementation, and post-implementation support and evaluation including:
Test configurations before deploying to production network. Windows 2000; Windows 2003; Active Directory; Antivirus software; Security Software; IIS, Cabling & Cable Management, WAN/LAN, routing and the logical structure of the network for VLAN security.

Analyze bandwidth and design a plan for capacity, ensuring that network is scalable to projected requirements.
Analyze security considerations, design and implement systems to monitor and maintain a secure network infrastructure.
Manage on-call staff which supports production systems 24x7 to respond to system notifications and troubleshoot accordingly.
Charged with maintenance, configuration and monitoring of production and corporate network.
- Respond to system incidents in a timely and urgent manner.
Design and plan all network systems to provide redundancy and ensure optimal uptime and stability.
Manage vendor relationships regarding WAN and VPN connectivity, product support, availability and functionality.
Troubleshoot and repair issues with internal and external network, including switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, servers, etc.
Plan, design and test before going into production for Wide Area Network/Local Area Network (WAN/LAN) routing and the logical structure of the network for VLAN security.

Review vendor proposals for bids on hardware and software.
Assist in selection of switching, routing, security, and other equipment.
Maintain, monitor, and back up configuration on network equipment.
Conduct research and product evaluations for new technical products.
Manage VPN connectivity with vendors in both production and corporate environments
Provide sales staff with necessary information required for proposal responses.
Supervise the network staff and develop them in their careers.
Responsible for 24/7 uptime of critical systems.
Keep current with industry standards, PCI standards and best practices; implement the necessary changes.
Participate in annual PCI audit in presentation of controls, systems, policies and best practices.
